The IAYP Gold Residential Service Project was organized by Mr Col Malhotra, PepTurf from 14 May to 16 May 2026. It was a truly enriching and memorable experience for the 18 students of XI and XII who participated in this journey. The trip provided students with an opportunity to serve the community which taught them valuable life lessons.
During the trip, students worked closely with children at PM Shri Govt. High School, Sakori and conducted a variety of engaging educational and interactive sessions. They taught them subjects and skills such as IT, Mathematics, Science, English, and dance through enjoyable activities and learning experiences. The enthusiasm and participation shown by the children made the experience even more rewarding. One of the highlights of the trip was the beautiful cultural exchange that took place. While the students taught dance performances to the children, they were also introduced to the local traditional dance, Nati. The joyful atmosphere created through music and dance became one of the most cherished moments of the trip.
As a part of their service activities, students also designed posters and gifted softboards for classrooms to help create a more colourful and interactive learning environment. Sharing midday meals with the children further strengthened the bond between the students and allowed them to experience a meaningful sense of connection and community. The students had an amazing experience throughout the trip. Beyond service, the journey taught them the values of kindness, teamwork, gratitude, and connection, reminding them that some of the most important lessons are learned beyond the walls of a classroom.
