Chandigarh’s Vivek High School witnessed a spectacular rendition of the timeless classic, “The Wizard of Oz,” brought to life by the talented Class 3 students. The production transported audiences to the enchanting land of Oz, following the adventures of Dorothy and her companions in their quest to find the elusive Wizard.
Around 120 children, directed by Mr. Vikramjeet Singh Mamik, the visionary director who demonstrated an extraordinary knack for detail and a profound understanding of drama, shone on the stage through song, dance, and theatrics. This timeless tale, originally a 1939 cinematic masterpiece, was brought to life with remarkable fidelity to the enchanting tale. The school’s adaptation not only adhered to the classic storyline but also introduced lesser-known songs, enhancing the audience’s experience.
