The Opening Ceremony included the March Past – an age-old tradition of Vivek High, wherein the four Houses – Nalanda, Taxila, Gandhara, Vikramshila, engage in friendly competition in a bid to win the prestigious title of ‘The Best Marching House’ and gain valuable House points.
Vikramshila was declared ‘The Best Marching House’.
The morning also had the highly anticipated presentation of the Scholar Blazer & Sports Blazer to deserving students. The Scholar and Sports Blazers are a testament to a student’s diligence, tenacity and willpower. The Scholar Blazer represents a cumulative academic record of 90% and above, over three consecutive years. The Sports Blazer represents outstanding achievement in sports at the UT/CBSE, National level games or International level games.
