Vivek High Junior Soccer Festival’

For the first time in the tri-city a soccer festival for Under-9s was organized at Vivek High . 16 Junior School teams (both boys & girls) came together to celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship and camaraderie. The highlight of the Junior Soccer Festival was healthy competition and exposure of the little ones to the nuances of the game.
The 16 Junior teams were from YPS Mohali, Chitkara International School, Sacred Heart School, Kundan International School, Vivek High School Mohali, St. Kabir Public School, Strawberry Fields World School, St. John’s High School, Kids ‘R’ Kids and Vivek High School, Sector 38.
The matches were well contested and many were decided on the basis of penalty shoot outs. The girls’ trophy was won by Vivek High School, Sector 38 with Sacred Heart School as Runners Up. The boys’ final was played between Chitkara International School and Vivek High School, Sector 38 and the winners were Vivek High School, Sector 38.
