Trinity Achievements at Vivek High

Trinity College London examinations in ‘Speech and Drama’ ,Communication Skills ‘ and ‘Plays in Production’ are now a regular feature at Vivek High , with the school now a recognized examination centre.   October  2013- 51 students from classes 7 to 12 took these exams with a 100 % result. They scored 39 distinctions and 12 merits. Ms Mora Doran was the Examiner.   Following closely in the heels of their Seniors and replicating their success were 70 little ones from classes 1, 2 and 3 who took the April 2014 Trinity College London ‘Speech and Drama’ examinations securing a 100% result, with 66 distinctions and 4 merits. The examiner, Mr Graham Watts, from Trinity College London, was impressed with their imagination and creativity. October 2014- 231 students from classes 1 to 12 appeared for these exams with 67 Distinctions, 161 Merits and 3 Pass . Mr Peter Thomson was the examiner November 2014 Founders- first time entry for PLAYS IN PRODUCTION Grade 4 exam ( group entry ) in house school production Gone With the Wind directed by Mrs P K Singh had 21 students and 9 teachers. They were awarded a Distinction . Mr Paul Mills was the examiner. April 2015- 140 students from classes 1 to 12 took these exams scoring 113 Distinctions and 27 Merits. Mr Paul Triggs was the examiner. Founders 2015 saw our second ‘Plays in Production’ entry- the musical adaptation GREASE , which scored a Distinction in the Grade 5 exam . Grease was directed by Mr Zubin Mehta and had a cast of 91 students and 21 supporting staff. Next individual exams are in February 2016 for which 121 students have registered.
