THE SHRI RAM SCHOOL MOULSARI MUN, GURGAON
From 4th to 6th August 2025, a delegation of eight students from Vivek High School, Chandigarh, participated in the prestigious Shri MUN 2025, hosted by The Shri Ram School Moulsari, Gurgaon. Accompanied by teacher escort Ms. Anu Sharma, the three-day conference offered an enriching immersion into the worlds of diplomacy, history, and international relations.
The delegation comprised Vidur Suri (10-IG), Vedaksh Verma (10-A), Viraj Chowdhary (9-B), Raunak Vadhera (9-D), Aryan Chhabra (8-A), Gurleen Kumar (9-D), Anhad Nayyar (9-D), and Zohar Singh Pathania (9-C).
Each delegate represented a distinct country or political figure in diverse committees, tackling agendas that ranged from contemporary global concerns to historically charged crises.
The committees included the UNGA , DISEC, Joint Historical Crisis Committee, Special Committee to the Qing Imperial Court, and the US Senate. With hundreds of delegates from across the country, the competition was intense and intellectually stimulating. Delegates were challenged to respond to rapidly evolving scenarios while balancing assertiveness with diplomacy—skills they had honed through diligent preparation.
In the US Senate Committee, comprising 46 delegates, Vedaksh Verma distinguished himself through persuasive arguments, sharp rebuttals, and adept coalition-building, ultimately earning the Best Delegate Award (1st prize).
In the Special Committee to the Qing Imperial Court, where 25 delegates grappled with imperial politics and historical crises, Vidur Suri meticulously researched proposals and was awarded a Special Mention (3rd prize).
Beyond the formal sessions, the conference provided opportunities for meaningful exchanges with peers from other schools, spirited team discussions, and shared moments that strengthened the delegation’s camaraderie.
