St. John’s COALESCE the Annual Inter-School Competition, 24th July
Our School participated in the twelfth edition of “St. John’s COALESCE”, the Annual Inter-School Competition, on 24th July 2025. Five students from our school actively participated in two key events – the Business Quiz and the On-the-Spot Marketing Gimmick Challenge. Both events aimed to enhance business awareness, creativity, and presentation skills among students.
1. Biz Wiz
A total of 22 teams from various schools competed in the Business Quiz. The event comprised a preliminary round, from which only the top 6 teams qualified for the final round.
Our school team, comprising of Tanveer Singh Guliani (XI B)and Aadil Anoop Ohri (XI B), successfully made it to the final round.
Their performance reflected excellent knowledge of business concepts, brands, marketing trends, and current affairs.
2. Marketing Gimmick Challenge
In this event, teams were given a product on the spot and were required to quickly devise a creative marketing gimmick, complete with a tagline, brand positioning, and promotional pitch.
Our team, consisted of, Abhay Kanwardeep Singh Samarth Bhatia and Naitik Jaggi from Grade XI B demonstrated remarkable innovation and presentation skills in the limited preparation time. Their out-of-the-box thinking and impactful delivery received appreciation from both judges and peers.
Overall, these events provided a platform for experiential learning and boosted students’ confidence in business communication and strategy.
