The Science Fest 2026, organised as a two-day event as part of the VHS Fiesta 2026, immersed students in the theme of “Marine Life: Exploring the Deep Ocean”, bringing together scientific inquiry and creativity through an engaging array of events. The fest witnessed broad participation from students of Classes 4 to 12 from several schools across Chandigarh and other cities, fostering enthusiasm, collaboration, and healthy inter-school engagement among diverse age groups.
Events such as Science Dare, Speak Like a Scientist, and Science Café encouraged analytical thinking, scientific discussion, and confident presentation skills. Science was also explored through creative expression with events like Science Drama, Science Expressions, and Bookmark Bonanza, allowing students to communicate scientific concepts in imaginative and meaningful ways. Students of the upper elementary classes further showcased their learning and innovation through ‘Wonder Works’ , an exhibits of working models and science experiments. The Fest culminated in an exciting Science Quiz, which brought together knowledge, teamwork, and friendly competition in a spirited finale.
