VHS Staff Member, Ms Preeti Sharma was awarded the National ICT Award for School Teachers. She was felicitated by the Honorable President of India, Sh Pranab Mukerjee on 5 September 2012 in Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. This award is given in recognition of effective and innovative integration of ICT in promoting students\’ learning. The award facilitates those teachers who have enhanced student learning by effectively and innovatively integrating technology supported learning into the school curriculum and subject teaching, and thereby promoted enquiry-based cooperative-collaborative learning using ICT amongst students. Teachers of primary, upper primary, secondary and higher secondary schools are eligible for this award.
