At Vivek High School, we are dedicated to creating a vibrant community of 21st century learners in a nurturing and dynamic environment. Students are encouraged to cultivate curiosity and open-mindedness, empowering them to explore their cosmic purpose while developing creative and critical thinking skills. We emphasize responsibility for self and society, as well as the importance of moral values. We, at Vivek believe discipline is nurtured by the individual rather than imposed by others. Discipline is viewed as essential to personal growth, while also focusing on enhancing observational skills and fostering respectful interactions.
At Vivek, being truly educated means to have a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us. We envision a world where children, empowered by the Montessori method, become independent, compassionate and lifelong learners, who contribute meaningfully to a peaceful and sustainable future. To fulfil this mission, we foster a thoughtfully designed and purposeful learning environment led by internationally certified AMI (Association Montessori Internationale, The Netherlands) Montessori educators, all within fully equipped classrooms that ignite a love of discovery. The Montessori pedagogy is offered at the Infant Community (18 months onwards), Children’s House (3-6 years) and Elementary Level (6-12 years).
Vivek High provides education for boys and girls from toddlers to XII, in accordance with the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi. Here, we offer a choice from over 27 subjects at the Higher Secondary level to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for a successful future.
Various activities in the school encourage all-round development, empowering students with traits that will serve them well in all walks of life.
Vivek High follows a richly blended curriculum prescribed by CBSE, Cambridge and Montessori at the primary and lower secondary levels. At the Upper Secondary level, we offer a choice between the IGCSE and the CBSE curriculum. For the IGCSE curriculum, we offer a choice from 16 subjects, thus enriching our students’ academic experience. Our first batch of IGCSE class X will take the examination in 2026.
The Cambridge curriculum nurtures a holistic approach to education, encompassing not only academic knowledge but also creativity, communication and collaborative skills. It adopts a learner-centric approach, encouraging students to explore subjects in depth. Active learning strategies and international recognition enable students to transition seamlessly from the Montessori methodology to subsequent academic levels.
