A Celebration of Culinary Creativity
The much-awaited Interhouse MasterChef 2025 at Vivek High School brought together passion, creativity, and the spirit of healthy competition. Students from all four houses – Nalanda, Vikramshila, Gandhara, and Taxila – showcased their culinary skills across three exciting categories: Savouries, Desserts, and Drinks. The event was a true feast for the senses, blending innovation with teamwork.
The competition opened with the Drinks Category. From mocktails to health-based concoctions, innovation took center stage. Meheramat from 11 C representing, Nalanda excelled, clinching the first place, while Advit Gulati from 11B, Gandhara stood strong in second, and Sehaj Virk 11C from Taxila secured third place.
The spotlight then shifted to the Savouries round, where vibrant aromas and sizzling pans filled the air. In Gandhara, Arnavee Jain of class 12C impressed the judges with the unique flavors and presentation of her dish, earning first place. Nalanda’s Uday Singh of 12 A secured second place, while Saba from Taxila followed in third, displaying a commendable effort.
The final category, Desserts round, proved to be a delightful showcase of creativity and finesse. Amanat Sekhon 11C, Nalanda, stood first, Amyra Ahsan 12C Vikramshila came in a close second, and Moxhda 12C Taxila claimed the third spot with their well-crafted sweet treats.
The event was not only a competition but also a celebration of teamwork, creativity, and the joy of cooking. Judges praised the participants for their originality, attention to detail, and confidence.
With Nalanda dominating two categories and Gandhara shining in savouries, the Interhouse MasterChef 2025 successfully highlighted the talent and enthusiasm of Vivek High School’s budding chefs. It was truly a day where learning extended beyond classrooms—into kitchens filled with laughter,
