To nurture creativity and expression among students, Vivek High School, Chandigarh organized an Inter House Hindi Poetry Recitation Competition on 21 August, 2025. The event provided a wonderful platform for children to showcase their talent, confidence and oratory skills. The competition was held in three groups: Class 4(Group A), Class 5(Group B) and Class 6(Group C). Dr. Sonika Gahlawat and Ms. Eknoor Dhillon adjudged the competition. The students were assessed on the basis of content, delivery, Pronunciation, expression and memory. All students delivered their poems with full enthusiasm. The judges praised the children for their clarity, confidence and emotive delivery.The competition truly highlighted that poetry is the rhythm of the soul. From class 4 (Group A) category, Shloka from Gandhara house stood first. Aadvik Gupta from Nalanda house got second and Sanigdha Mittal from Taxila House got third position respectively. From class 5 (Group B), Sidharth Agarrwal from Nalanda house and Sifat Malhotra from Vikramashila house stood first. Eshaan Garg from Gandhara house and Kavya Bansal from Taxila House got second and third position respectively. From class 6 (Group C), Jagrit Sharma from Taxila house, Mishaye Gupta from Vikramashila house and Amaania Jaspal from Gandhara house stood first, second and third position respectively.
