


Seventeen enthusiastic Grade 11 and 12 students, accompanied by Ms Ritu Bhatia and Mr Vikram Saini, successfully completed their IAYP Gold Level Service Project at PM SHRI School, Mahobhag, Chail, Himachal Pradesh. The project, organized by Pepturf under Colonel Malhotra’s leadership from 2nd to 4th May 2025, focused on improving the school’s environment. The students cleaned and swept the premises, cut overgrown bushes, and painted doors and walls, giving the school a fresh, welcoming look. A key achievement was renovating the kitchen, enhancing its safety and hygiene. They also conducted workshops on public speaking, etiquette, and technology, building students’ confidence and skills. A poster-making session on sustainability encouraged creative thinking about environmental conservation. The project offered the team invaluable experience in leadership, teamwork, and social service, making it a memorable and meaningful effort.
Three Grade 10 students — Ayesha Sachin Bindal, Mannat Rikhy, and Zeenia, completed their Bronze Medal expedition to Chail Ridge accompanied by Major Priya Jhingan and Mr. Vikram Saini. They hiked 8.5 km through pine forests, conquered the confidence course with Burma and Bamboo Bridges, and learned valley crossing and ziplining.
