A delegation of 8 students, namely, Vrinda and Saggan Aggarwal(10 D), Tejas Sareen and Jaskaran Singh Oberoi (12 B), Saniya Dungriyal and Vanshika Sharda (12C1) and Gaurika and Gul Bindra (12 C2), participated in the Gurukul Global School Online Model United Nations 2020 held on 1st and 2nd August 2020.
The conference hosted 4 committees and debated upon agendas related to women empowerment and its link to sustainable development with special emphasis on the impact of COVID-19, assessing the impact of the Emissions Gap Report with special focus on SDGs and special learnings due to COVID-19, discussing India’s border tensions with China in the aftermath of Galwan Valley & controlling the impact on the possible second wave of COVID-19 etc. Our three delegates won the following awards:
