On 6 June 2024, I, Tanveer Singh Guliani, had the privilege of representing my exchange school St Stithians Boys College at the prestigious Tour De Maths – Leg 6, hosted at St George, Johannesburg, South Africa. This international-level competition brought together nearly 300 bright students from leading schools across Johannesburg, all competing in an intense display of logical reasoning, problem-solving, and mathematical creativity. Amidst such a talented pool of participants, I was honored to secure the 1st position, which was a truly humbling and motivating experience. The event not only tested mathematical aptitude but also emphasized critical thinking and collaboration under time-bound challenges. As recognition for my performance, I was awarded a brand-new Casio watch, a symbol of achievement that I cherish deeply. This milestone reinforced my passion for mathematics and strengthened my confidence to compete and excel on larger platforms in the future.
