A delegation of 7 students, namely, Pranshu Garg (9 D), Purvi Wasan (10 B), Dhanishtha Kumar (11 A), Jastej Singh (11 B1), Tanish Chugh (12 B), Nimisha Goel (12 B) and, Aakriti Kamal (12 C1), participated in the 3rd edition of The Lawrence School Sanawar Model United Nations Conference from 31 July– 2 August 2020.
The conference provided the delegates with mind boggling agendas like, advancing the human rights to protect against discrimination on sexual orientation and gender identity, building a roadmap addressing the state affairs of the Yemen crisis, emphasizing and reviewing the reservation system and the education policy, etc.
After a constructive debate of two days, our delegates won the following awards:
- Aakriti Kamal (Best delegate in African Union consisting of 35 delegates)
- Tanish Chugh (Special Mention in OECD consisting of 35 delegates)
