The landmark 25th Junior Achievement Company at Vivek was launched on 19 October 2021, with 15 students from Class XI B1, B2, C1 and C2 Sections (Commerce and Humanities Streams) taking the roles and responsibilities of Finance, Human Resources, Marketing and Sales and Production Departments. Capital of Rs. 17,000 was raised with 1,700 shares worth Rs. 10 each share. The company constitutes Chiefs, Company Secretary and Managers and all the members work collaboratively to learn and build on Entrepreneurial skills. JA Company helps students to understand the role of business and its different facets in our society. Riya Khera is the CEO. Head of the Finance department is Agamdeep Singh Khehra. Head of Production responsibilities are Twinkle Ghai and Amrita Kant. Head of the Marketing department is Binay Pal Brar and Head of Technical Department is Snigdha Pandey. Human Resources Department is being spearheaded by Hriday Mittal.
It has been an enriching and empowering experience for all students involved. They are gaining real world exposure in running and managing start-ups. Students have shared that being part of this program has given them invaluable skill development in conflict management, capacity utilization of resources, fund management and competencies to frame strategies for attaining competitive advantage.
The tagline of “The Resin Abode” Company is “You Dream, We Create” which embodies the customizable nature of products. These include Environmentally friendly keychains, phone covers, and trays that have a variety of domestic and casual uses. The tagline also showcases the customer centric approach of the company.
