ANNUAL VIVEK HIGH INTER SCHOOL BUSINESS CONCLAVE 2025

The two-day Annual Vivek High Inter-School Business Conclave 2025, hosted by Commerce Department on 5th – 6th  August 2025, was a vibrant platform designed to ignite entrepreneurial thinking, foster creativity, and enhance business acumen among students of Grades 9 to 12. The event brought together young minds from various schools to engage in a series of intellectually stimulating competitions, each focusing on different aspects of business knowledge and innovation.

This year the department conducted the 12th edition of Business Quiz, 6h  edition of Business Venture, 5th  edition of Business Reel to Real competition and 3rd  edition of Business Logo & Tagline Designing saw the participation of various schools  from different parts of the country.

The Conclave comprised the following flagship events:

  1. BizQuest – In a dynamic display of knowledge, wit, and enthusiasm, Vivek High School hosted the much-awaited BizQuest (business quiz). Conducted on 5th August 2025, the quiz attracted participation from Seventeen schools from Northern India.

Quizmaster Mr. Gautam Bose from Grey Cells brought his signature energy, crafting an experience that was as intellectually demanding as it was exciting.

The preliminary round kept everyone on the edge of their seats, especially when a tie between three schools for the last two finalist spots led to a nail-biting tie-breaker. The top six teams moved on to the grand finale — a high-energy battle of crosswords, clue-based challenges, audio–visual rounds, and rapid-fire questions covering business concepts, entrepreneurship, corporate affairs, and global market trends. The atmosphere was electric as teams showcased sharp thinking, quick reflexes, and deep business knowledge.

Learning Paths School, Mohali stood Winners followed by Yadavindra Public School, Patiala and Bhavan Vidyalaya, Chandigarh.

  • BIZATHON – based on Unified Theme  Smart Solutions for Smart Living
  1. Business Venture-

Turning the spotlight on innovation, the Bizathon Venture Pitch brought together Fourteen schools to present groundbreaking business ideas rooted in technology, sustainability, and convenience. Each team prepared a detailed pitch and faced a panel of industry experts who assessed them on Innovation & Originality, Target Market & Customer Insight, Sustainability & Social Impact, Financial Planning and Presentation skills.

The session was highly interactive, with judges – Mr. Sachin Khosla and Mr. Aayush Garg, posing insightful and often challenging questions, pushing participants to defend their business models with precision. From AI-driven healthcare tools to eco-friendly lifestyle solutions, the pitches reflected not just creativity but also a keen awareness of global challenges and market needs. The event proved to be a true incubator for entrepreneurial talent.

St. Kabir Public school, Chandigarh was declared as Winner. She presented the unique idea of Eco fresh Wraps (Sustainable Food Wrapping). Manav Rachna International School, Mohali stood Second followed by Vivek High School, Chandigarh, who stood Third in the competition. Our school was represented by Aadil Anoop Ohri from Grade 12. 

  • Logo and Tagline Designing Competition –

Creativity took centre stage in the Logo and Tagline Designing Competition, where Sixteen schools on 5th August 2025 participated in a branding challenge based on the case study “Grameen Connect” — a fictional social enterprise providing smart solutions for rural upliftment.

Using Canva as their design tool, participants from each school crafted professional-quality logos paired with catchy, theme-relevant taglines. The competition tested their ability to visually communicate a brand’s essence, balance creativity with originality, and produce designs that could stand out in a competitive market.

The challenge tested not only artistic skills but also strategic communication — ensuring the designs captured the spirit of empowerment and progress that Grameen Connect represented. Judges – Ms. Avneet Gauba, Ms. Harpuneet Kaur and Mr. Chetanya Aggarwal – commended the participants for their ability to merge creativity with purpose.

Team of two students from Vivek High School, Mohali stood Winners followed by  Spring Dales Senior School, Amritsar as First Runner’s Up and Vivek High School, Chandigarh as Second Runner’s Up. Our school was represented by Aahana Dhillon and Taranpreet Kaur , both from Grade 11 B. 

  • Reel to Real – Short Video Presentation

Lights, camera, innovation! The Reel to Real competition, held on 5th August 2025, turned the auditorium into a creative studio where Fourteen schools showcased their vision for a smarter future. Each team began by sharing the inspiration and purpose behind their reel — whether it was to solve a pressing problem, raise awareness, or present a futuristic solution.

From relatable everyday challenges to imaginative leaps into the future, the reels proved that big ideas can be delivered in small, powerful packages. After the screenings, a lively Q&A session gave teams the opportunity to explain their creative choices, defend their ideas, and connect their message to real-world impact.

Judges – Mr, Vidur Varma, Mr, Rahul Gauba and Mr. Chetanya Aggarwal – assessed the entries for creativity & engaging audience, visual appeal & clarity of message, relevance to theme and overall impact. praised the diversity of storytelling — some reels tugged at emotions, others wowed with technical flair, and many inspired fresh thinking about how smart solutions can transform our lives.

Team of two participants from The British Co- Ed High School, Patiala were adjudged as the  Winners of the competition, followed by Vivek High School, Chandigarh (1st Runner up) and The Scindia School, Gwalior (2nd Runner up). Our school was represented by Nikasha Luthra and Gurnivaaz Kaur , both from Grade 12 C. 

The Conclave witnessed enthusiastic participation, creative presentations, and healthy competition, making it an enriching experience for all. Through its diverse events, Business Conclave 2025 successfully achieved its objective of fostering entrepreneurial spirit, encouraging innovative thinking, and promoting collaboration among the future leaders of the business world.

Running trophy “VICTORALITORE” for the Annual Vivek High Inter School English Debate & Persuasive Speaking and Business Conclave 2025 was bagged by Vivek High School, Chandigarh. Being the host school, the trophy was handed over to Spring Dales Senior School, Amritsar – the second-best participating school in all seven events.
