Inter-School English Debate and Public Speaking Competition
5 – 6th August 2025
The Inter-School English Debate and Public Speaking Competition was held on 5th and 6th August 2025. Sixteen schools from various parts of the country
participated in the event. The Preliminary Round and Semi-Final Round for the Debate, Persuasive Speechand Dramatic Interpretation was held on 5th August 2025. The Final Round was held on 6th August 2025. The panel of judges included Ms. Bubbu Tir, Dr. Nipun Kalia, Dr. Manju Chouhan, Ms. Sajneet Sandhu, and Dr. Seerat Gill.
The results were as follows –
Debate
1st – Vivek High School, Chandigarh
2nd – St. Kabir Public School, Chandigarh
Dramatic Interpretation
1st – Agamya, Vivek High School, Mohali
2nd – Ayesha Sachin Bindal, Vivek High School, Chandigarh
Persuasive Speech
1st – Amanat Sekhon, Vivek High School, Chandigarh
2nd – Deveishi Suri, Amity International School, Mohali

As per tradition, the Inter-School Debate Trophy and the Victor Alitore was awarded to the runners-up schools:
