On 24th April 2025, Mass Media and Design students visited The Tribune to understand the working of the newspaper industry and explore potential career prospects for young students. The visit began with a discussion on the newspaper’s history, followed by a demonstration of the publishing and design processes. We learned about the printing machinery and observed how plates are prepared in the yellow room under controlled lighting. This industrial visit gave us valuable insights into how the newspaper industry functions and the opportunities available for students in media-related careers.
