“Inspiring Voices: The Big Baraza”
Six delegates from Vivek High School participated in the Round Square Inspiring Voices event in the UK held from 12th to 17th April 2025. This event brought them together with peers from different countries to share perspectives, debate topical issues, forge friendships, support local communities, and develop international understanding. The Round Square Inspiring Voices event brought together 400 students aged 15-18 and their teachers from different countries to build global understanding through public speaking, debates at The Oxford Union, and workshop discussions.
The VHS delegates were:

3. Tashveen Sirphikhi – Class 11
4. Ayesha Sachin Bindal – Class 10-IG
5. Tisya Juneja – Class 9
6. Rivaan Rampal-Class 9

Students participated in Baraza discussions, mask-making workshops, city discovery trails, and formal debates at the renowned Oxford Union throughout the event. Highlights included inspiring keynote speeches, engaging cultural evenings, and a powerful closing ceremony at the historic Sheldonian Theatre, where Gurnivaaz Kaur Sandhu represented VHS as a keynote speaker.
