Footloose - a journey of loss, forgiveness and healing - By Puneet Jewandah
Its a story about a man who lost his son, a boy who lost his father, and how the two of them help each other heal, slowly finding their way through grief, pain, and the things they have struggled to let go of. A boy who loves dancing moves to a town where dancing is prohibited he wants the entire town to dance, simply because he knows what it feels like to lose yourself in music. He sees a town weighed down by grief, fear, and unspoken sorrow, a town that has forgotten how to live, how to let loose, how to laugh without guilt, and how to find joy in the little things. And so, he fights for dance. He understands what it can do for a person. He knows how it can bring people together, give them a sense of belonging, and offer them a moment of freedom from everything that hurts. But beneath all the music, the dancing, and the infectious energy lies something much more tender and human: story about people who are hurting, people who are trying to find their way, and people who, without even realising it, become the very reason someone else begins to heal.
