An Interhouse Business Plan Competition was conducted by the Commerce Department on 12 May 2022 for the students of Grade IX and X. The main aim of the competition was to provide a platform for all the budding entrepreneurs to showcase their business ideas. Eight students participated in the competition i.e., two students representing each house (one from grade IX and one from grade X).
Ms. Saniya Kamra and Ms. Tamanpreet, both our Ex-Vivekites, judged the participants on the basis of originality/innovation, promotion strategies, presentation and sustainability.
Ayaana Chawla (X-D) presented her business plan on Leather from Cacti and stood First, Tanvi Nagpal (IX-A) won the second prize for her business plan on Sustainable Stitches and Tisleen Sirphiki (IX-A) won the third prize for her business plan on WET (Water in Eco-Friendly Tumbler).
For the overall position, Gandhara House stood First followed by Vikramshila House. The third position was shared by Nalanda and Taxila Houses.
The competition provided a meaningful learning experience for students who are interested in pursuing an entrepreneurial opportunity at some point in their careers.
