Ganemat Sekhon of class 10 won two Silver medals in the senior and junior category in the Clay Pigeon Skeet shooting championship at the 60th National Shotgun Championship held at Jaipur in the month of November. She won a team Gold medal for the state of Punjab in the same event.
She has also achieved the highest score in the junior category and equaled the National Record. In the senior category she is the second highest scorer. Ganemat has also done well in other competitions held earlier this year by winning a Silver medal in the36th North Zone Shooting Championship held at New Delhi and a Bronze medal in the S.K. Kapoor Grand Prix held at Jaipur.
With a lot of hardwork and dedication she is now ranked as the no.1 Skeet Shooter in Junior Women and also ranked as the No.2 Skeet Shooter in Senior Women in India.
