In our last communication received from Saanya, she had informed us that she had been offered summer internships from J P Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs, New York.
It gives us immense pleasure in sharing that Saanya has accepted the offer of internship from Goldman Sachs Investment Partners (an investment fund that operates in private and public markets) to work in a team that manages 3 billion USD in assets. Her internship is an extremely significant achievement as being a part of a team that has such an enormous financial responsibility is rare for student internees and as a rule is offered to those who have 3-4 years of prior work experience.
Saanya has also been elected as President of Wharton Business Schools’ premier student consulting club, Social Impact Consulting (SIC). SIC offers pro-bono financial consulting services to national and international foundations like Make a Wish and Givology.
She has also been elected as the Penn Pod Leader for Global Platinum Securities, inter – collegiate investment fund that invests 250,000 USD in the US equity markets.
The last semester also saw her get elected as President, tGELF, Penn Chapter as well as get nominated for Beta Gamma Sigma, the highly selective honours society for business students at Wharton Business School, as her GPA was amongst the top 1% (3.97/4.0). She is also a part of the National French Honours Society, Pi Delta Phi.
