Daily use products are frequently carried or sold in plastic, which is non-biodegradable and endangers the life of all living beings. It is a critical threat to the environment. The 26th JA company, TOTE-TIQUE is a play on the word boutique. All the bags are handmade from recycled material, by the students of the company.Tote-Tique is introducing 100% eco-friendly tote bags and many other exciting products such as keychains and coasters which are available in various sizes and designs.
The company includes many different positions for students such as CEO, Company Secretary, chiefs of different departments like production, finance, marketing, human resources, sales, and their managers. Dr. Savita Nanda is the mentor of the company who guides the students in the working of the company. Share Capital of ₹ 20,000 is collected by dividing 2,000 shares of ₹10 each. Applications are invited from students, teachers, administrative staff and Class IV employees.
The theme colours sage green and white represent sustainable thinking, and playing our part in regenerating cultures of mindless consumption; making the Earth green again. “Where necessity meets creativity” is the tagline of the company. Since the purpose of tote bags is to carry daily essentials, consumers look for the most durable ones with comfortable straps, pockets, and high strength to weight ratio. Tote-Tique fulfills these requirements with the option of personalising according to consumer taste. Tote bags have a wide range of options with customised quotes, characters, artists or even music bands.
The company engages with the customers through dynamic e-commerce platforms such as Instagram. Latest product offerings and designs are updated regularly. Placing orders is easy, as the portal allows for a product catalogue and payment gateway.
Our Principal Mrs. Renu Puri launched the company and assigned roles and responsibilities to the students.
